Miami-Dade NOA &
Florida Product Approval
Every window we install carries either a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance (NOA) or a Florida Product Approval — often both. These are the engineering documents that prove a product has been tested and approved for use in Florida's Wind-Borne Debris Regions and High Velocity Hurricane Zones.
We never install a window that doesn't carry the certifications required by Florida Building Code. Your installation documentation includes all product approval numbers for your insurance company and future reference.
Miami-Dade NOA
Notice of Acceptance
The most stringent building product approval in the United States. Required for all products installed in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Products with Miami-Dade NOA have passed large-missile impact testing (9-lb 2×4 at 50 fps) and cyclic wind pressure testing up to 9,000 cycles.
Florida Product Approval
FL #
Statewide approval for products meeting the Florida Building Code's High Velocity Hurricane Zone requirements. Valid for use throughout Florida's Wind-Borne Debris Region, which includes all of Collier and Lee Counties.
